The Ideas Management space is the central hub where Program Admins visualize and curate all incoming Submissions throughout the lifecycle of a Program. From this area, you can track progress, qualify content, and advance Ideas through your defined workflow steps.
Navigating Idea Views
To access your submissions, go to the Monitoring menu and select Ideas management. You can choose between three different viewing modes to suit your workflow:
Kanban View: A board layout organized by workflow steps, ideal for dragging and dropping Ideas from one stage to another.
Catalog View: Displays Ideas as cards with thumbnails and short summaries, great for visual browsing.
List View: A structured table that is particularly useful for performing bulk actions and exporting data.
Filtering and Sorting
With a large number of Submissions, effective filtering is essential for efficient curation:
Quick Filters: Use the sidebar to filter Ideas by their current step, category, status (Active/Discarded), or completion progress.
Advanced Filters: Search for specific information based on predefined choices from the Submission Form Questions.
Sorting: Use the Sort by function to reorganize the list by "Last updated," "Create date," or performance metrics like "Most liked" and "Best grade".
Qualifying and Moving Ideas
As you review Ideas, you can interact with them directly to manage their journey.
Detailed View: Click on any Idea to see its full Submission Form, team members, voting history, and internal admin comments.
Moving Steps: You can manually drag Idea cards in the Kanban view to the next step. Alternatively, use Bulk actions to move multiple Ideas to a new stage simultaneously.
Discarding: If an Idea is not relevant, use the Discard option. This greys out the Idea without deleting it, keeping an audit trail. Participants will see they did not pass the current step on their own space.
Bulk Actions and Properties
For large-scale management, use the Bulk actions button found in the top-right corner:
Property Updates: Select a batch of Ideas and apply "Properties" (like Priority or Topic) to all of them at once. These properties are visible only to admins and help you qualify Ideas in a structured way.
Move to Step: Efficiently advance multiple Ideas to the next stage of the Program journey. Upon selection, you can choose the specific destination step (e.g., Public Vote or Technical Validation) to move the chosen projects.
Discard: If a group of Ideas is not relevant to your Program, you can reject them in bulk. While Participants are not automatically notified of a discard, they will see on their own space that they did not pass the current step
