What is it?
The Ecosystem tab is the "connective tissue" of your platform. It allows you to create active links between different items—Partners, Projects, and ideas linked in the ecosystem. These links can then be qualified, resulting in a different display depending on the nature of the link.
How to use it?
You can access the Ecosystem interface from the header of any item page (Partner, Project). Simply click the More dropdown menu and select Ecosystem.
Once you are inside the Ecosystem view, building your network is a simple, guided process.
Select: Click the + Link solution button.
A search bar will appear, allowing you to type the name of the project you want to connect. The platform will suggest existing items as you type.
Once you have selected the project you wish to link, you will be prompted to define the Relationship Status. By default, you can qualify these as either a Selected solution or a Shortlisted solution.
Note: The wording of these options can be changed, If you would like to customize these, please reach out to the Customer Care Team at support@bloomflow.com to update your configuration.
You can also write a comment about the relationship, as shown below.
The Ecosystem button is smart, it adapts based on where you are.
If you are on a Partner page, the Ecosystem view helps you see which Projects and Partners that partner is involved in.
If you are on a Project page, it shows you the Partners you’ve scouted or the common Projects.
Viewing your connections
After you have linked solutions to your project, you can feature specific categories to appear directly on the Project Status/Overview page for immediate visibility.
By default, the platform is configured to highlight the "Shortlisted Solutions" category.
If you would like to showcase a different category on your status page, please contact the Customer Care Team, who can customize this display upon your request.
The ecosystem table view
To help you manage more complex ecosystems and high-volume scouting, we’ve introduced a structured Table View and streamlined shortcuts for creating new items. To enable this feature, please reach out to the Customer Care Team at support@bloomflow.com.
When dealing with multiple partners or projects, the new Table View provides a clean, grid-based overview of your data. This makes it much easier to scan through long lists of connections and their qualifying comments at a glance.
Side Navigation: You can now navigate through your ecosystem using the new side menu, which stays synchronized with the folders defined in your top navigation. This allows you to jump between different categories of partners or projects instantly.
This evolution is designed specifically for teams managing high-density pipelines. For example, during a Scouting Project, you can use the Table View to visualize all potential partners and then immediately "Create and Link" a Proof of Concept (PoC) project for the most promising candidates—all without ever losing your place in the ecosystem.
